Onsite Assessment 

Sysnet provide full onsite assessment services within the appropriate scope defined by your organisation. This involves our information security consultants engaging with your organisation to assess your information security posture and represents a detailed examination of adequacy and effectiveness of individual information security controls, specific technologies or applications, operating systems, network infrastructure, database security and security management practices. This can also represent a formal assessment of your organisation’s compliance against a given requirement or standard (such as PCI DSS or ISO 27001). This assessment also provides an overall picture of your organisation’s posture as it relates to information security management and strategy.

Sysnet provide a formal PCI DSS assessment service which involves a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) engaging with your organisation to perform a full onsite PCI DSS assessment, applying the methodology outlined within the PCI DSS Requirements and Security Assessment Procedures v1.2. This assessment represents a detailed examination of the adequacy and effectiveness of each information security control against each clause of the PCI DSS using the specific testing procedures defined.

On completion of a successful PCI DSS assessment, Sysnet will make certain that the necessary documentation is communicated to the appropriate organisations to ensure that your compliance is recognised by those that require assurance of your compliance to engage with your business. This includes validating your compliance by reporting the appropriate submissions to the card associations (VISA, MasterCard etc) for certification.

Many smaller organisations struggle with completion of the PCI DSS Self Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ). Sysnet’s Qualified Security Assessors provide both SAQ completion assistance and step-by-step support for PCI Level 2, 3 and 4 merchants in understanding validation requirements and completing the SAQ.
